**Responsibilities**: - Oversee and manage daily accounting tasks - Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results - Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures - Assist with tax audits and tax returns. - Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance - Support month-end and year-end close process - Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls - Ensure compliance with GAAP principles - Prepare financial statements and produce budget in accordance with the schedule - Manage tax payments and returns - Update internal systems with financial data - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports - Review and implement financial policies - Perform a financial analysis and present findings - Work closely with the Manager to ensure smooth operation **A successful Accountant should have**: - 3+ years of experience in similar role - Proficiency in UK tax laws & accounting background is preferable - Skills in creating detailed budgets and forecasting future financial needs. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for preparing reports and presenting financial data to stakeholders. - Capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring our payments process is well controlled - Preparing VAT returns - Familiarity with Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, etc - A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting - Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with financial software - A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field Application Question(s): - What's your expected salary? - When can you join us? **Experience**: - Accounting: 3 years (required) **Language**: - English (required)
