Sales Engineer

**Responsibilities**:
- Maintaining extensive knowledge of the robusta’s products, functions, and processes and assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the clients' needs.
- Create solutions for selling into prospect account base
- Working with sales executives and business units to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
- Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas.
- Identifying customer pains, needs and goals and finding proper matches within our offerings
- Successfully matching customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
- Consulting potential customers on the best product market fit for their pains/requirements
- Creating and delivering powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
- Managing all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses
- Modeling the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity
- Effectively communicating client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
- Collecting and documenting competitive intelligence and insights
- Training other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services
**Requirements**:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer or technical pre sales
- Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner. Relate technical information to non-technical customers.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation and creativity skills
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership and team working skills.
- Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions within the technology field is a plus
