What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work with a cross functional global team to design, build and deliver production ready software with Dell standards.

You will:

- Demonstrate your ability to design, code, test, and deliver Dell’s Bare Metal orchestrator product for our Telecom Systems Business
- Contribute to the effort on automation, CI/CD processes and tools to make our services simpler and more robust
- Be an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test, and delivery

Desirable Requirements

Graduate from Computer Science or a related field

Essential Requirements
- 5 - 8 years of related experience
- Knowledge of Object-oriented programming & Data Structures
- Experience with DevOps practices
- Proficiency in one or more of the following languages (Java, Golang, Python, C/C++)
- Experience with front-end HTML5/CSS/JavaScript (jQuery, Bootstrap, extJS, Knockout, Angular, React, Vue)
- Experience of micro-services APIs, Web Services, JSON
- Preferred knowledge of Container Technologies (Dockers, Kubernetes) and Containers Network Interface.

Preferred experience:
Network basics (TCP/IP stack, networking, security, and common Internet services/protocols such as SNMP, DNS, LDAP, NTP, HTTP)

Key Responsibilities
- Implementation and delivery of Bare metal orchestrator solution (BMO) using Agile methodologies
- Key player in the complete software life cycle from requirements leading to design and development in CI/CD frameworks using DevOps
Actively provide hands-on engineering, development, integration, and administration of DevOps tools and have a strong grasp of automation and monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with the team, contribute in driving the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies and improved reliability, stability.
- Pro-actively analyze current software delivery processes and practices and suggest/ drive improvements.
- Be able to make well-informed decisions on DevOps tooling and implementation recommendations based on real-world professional experience.
