**Overview**

This role is responsible for leading the sector sourcing strategies and commodity risk management processes for vegetable oil for all BUs in AMESA by defining & delivering the strategy, productivity, innovation, PwP, quality, localization and sustainability. This role

selects, develops and manages the relationships with Strategic Suppliers to support objectives of productivity, cash flow, sustainability, service and quality to the BU’s operations. Accountability also include: ensuring full compliance to S&P Policies & Proceudres, Building and implementing S&P team Capability.

This role offers a strong experience in the Commodities practice within the GP Career Model while building strong cross-functional relationships and networks within the sector. This role will require constant cross-functional collaboration and opportunity development,

as well as frequent communication with Sector MSOs, R&D and Finance Senior Leaders (LG1+). The Veg Oil COE will lead AMESA Sustainability agend to ensure delivery of PEP+ as related to Veg Oil requirements, where in addition to Sustainable sourcing and supporting the “Rimba Collective” (an initiative led by buyers & processors of palm oil to collectively support

long-term, sustainable conservation, and restoration of forests), the role will also lead AMESA into meeting the aligned SAT FAT reduction glidepath by ensuring the following:
**I.Technology Readiness**:
1.Ensure technical validation of SFO/Palmolein + AOX healthy oil.

2.Build a pipeline of alternate oils for crisis mitigation

**II. Cost management**

1.Push plans for one-time transition closer to the target date to manage cost

2.Build supply chain to minimize cost impacts

**III.Sustainable from the Start**:
1.Establishing supply road map to ensure (starting with India) to ensure sourcing in line with

Pep+ve guardrails

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure business continuity through Supplier Relationship ownership & management, commodity Risk management, & supply security & resiliency
- Lead veg oil localization work across AMESA
- Lead AMESA Sustainability agenda to ensure delivery of PEP+ as related to Veg Oil requirements
- Own and ensure Supply Security & Resilience
- Plan and deliver AMESA S&P Veg Oil AOP and long-term strategic targets
- Plan and deliver P&L Savings (including productivity) objectives for S&P procurement in AMESA
- Closely liaise with PepsiCo main region/ market business stakeholders; anticipate and synthesize short
- and long-term needs of the region/ markets
- Align stakeholders on category decisions
- Strategically lead the development of purchasing contracts and agreements (ultimate responsibility for the contracts) for Veg Oil category
- Sponsor T2T Strategic Suppliers Meetings & support negotiations of important contracts
- Lead AMESA S&P team to develop & deliver PEP+ glidpaths as related to:

- Products (SAT FAT reduction)
- Ingredients (tracablity,certification, regen-ag)
- Lead AMESA suppliers to deliver on Scope 1 & 2 for GHG as well as setting Science Based Targets
- Build AMESA S&P Veg Oil Team Capability in addition to recruiting & developing the AMESA S&P team to be Fit For Future
- Ensure that PepsiCo AMESA purchases all products/ services at the most competitive prices/ best value
- Ensure that best in class processes, procedures and tools for sourcing and request to purchase are implemented
- Maintaining rigourous execution of commodity Playbooks and appropriate coverage reporting on a monthly basis
- Leading an annual RFP process to ensure continued competitiveness
- Ensuring sustainable sourcing strategies for materials are customized for the sector and maintain the public commitments made by PepsiCo
- Robust supply chain solutions that give the operations high levels of service and quality with sufficient Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) to de-risk supply

**Qualifications**
- 12+ years of experience
- Proven results delivering significant business change within a fast-paced cross functional matrix environment
- Very high level of business acumen - must be commercially & organizationally savvy and financially astute
- Outstanding communication skills, ability to influence at all levels and comfortable managing conflict
- Proven Sourcing, Procurement & SC project leadership/management skills
- Strong process thinker committed to driving process efficiency
- Capability builder - ability to build functional teams from scratch & empower diverse cross-functional project teams
- Deep operating knowledge of how to manage large scale suppliers
- Deep knowledge of PepsiCo’s Operating Model, BUY/Make/Move/Sell capability
- Strong multitasking and project management skills
- Ability to analyze complex business scenarios, develop and evaluate actionable solutions and push through to completion and implementation
