**Role purpose**:
Managing the entire lifecycle of systems in scope including coordination of design, development, testing, acceptance and implementation of SW and HW for those systems and effective Release and Capacity Management.
Efficient control and steer of internal and external suppliers, alignment of vendor’s product roadmap with Vodafone’s businesses & domain's strategy.
Identifies technical synergy potentials and derivation of recommendations for actions.
Independent and responsible execution of projects and relevant contribution to cross domain projects and programmes with multi-discipline and multinational character

Translates business demand into technical requirements and identification of the affected areas

Checks feasibility of demands with related to business needs

**Key accountabilities**:

- Accountable for design, development and deployment of systems and complex and versatile solutions in line with business needs and the domain's and vertical's strategy
- Analysis of stakeholder requirements and definition of solution design for development of system enhancements and customizations by external suppliers.
- Deployment of the solutions (e.g., on virtual infrastructure, providing connectivity) and integration into the OSS architecture (e.g. Identity and security management solutions, UAM)
- End to end testing of the solutions and handover to operations considering operational requirements
- Accountable to manage the entire lifecycle of the systems and solutions in area of accountability, including identification of technical synergy potentials and derivation of recommendations for action.
- Selects and coordinates external suppliers for the design, development and implementation phase and effective control and steer of those suppliers.
- Continuous alignment of business strategies with solution & product roadmap and active consultancy of business stakeholders.

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Very good knowledge of OSS / BSS architecture and solutions
- Long term experience in the engineering of Identity and Access Management (e.g., Sailpoint, Oracle), Remote vendor Access solutions (e.g., Citrix, ZTNA, MAVD) and security solutions to manage hardening and vulnerabilities in OSS (e.g., tripwire, SIEM, EDR, MFA, AV)
- Very good knowledge of process & project management methodologies (e.g., Prince2)
- Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Goal and team-oriented working method within virtual teams, high level of empathy and cultural awareness to interface with multi-national clients
- Distinct conceptual and analytical thinking and working.
- Very good command of English, both verbally and written

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- University degree in computer science, telecommunications or equivalent
- At least 5 years professional experience in telecommunication or IT
- Good knowledge of Security & PUAM/IAM and Remote User access solutions.
