As a Graphic Design Manager, you will have a mix of marketing expertise and business understanding with a natural eye for design across print and digital mediums. You will possess the drive to inspire dynamic ideas which connect with our audience. You will be working with a team of designers and videographers in close partnership with the editorial and marketing wings, working alongside the Creative Director to assist in overseeing the creative process and offering guidance to the design team.

**Requirements**:

- Manage a team of designers, photographers and their deliverables, setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors/managers.
- Has accountability for the performance and results of the design team.
- Applies acquired expertise to analyse and solve problems without clear precedent.
- Provides input on resource planning and policy development.
- Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers.
- Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from Creative Director.
- Exercises limited management authority; sets employee performance objectives, conducts performance reviews.
- Design new ideas for branded campaigns and marketing message.
- Conduct brainstorming sessions with the team, maintaining our brand identity to develop innovative initiatives.
- Review and assist in art and copy development by the team.
- Produce fresh, innovative work that translates ideas into compelling visuals for our audience.
- Present, or oversee presentation of final concept.
- Ability to analyse trends, look at new data and keep up with the time.
- Self-management and ownership, this means managing yourself, your time and your priorities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Arts
- Experience in creating marketing/advertising campaigns
- Experience in print design
- Experience in digital and UI/UX design
- At least 8 years of experience in a client side environment
- Visual Ideation/Creativity Typography Design Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) Multimedia Design Software (After Effects, etc.) Color Theory Web Design/Basic HTML & CSS Layout/Conversion Optimization Print Design
- Strong Knowledge of Print and UI/UX design theory
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Xd is an advantage
- Strong collaborative skills
- Fluent English
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage own workload and changing demands
- A keen eye for detail
- A can-do and flexible approach
- Can perform under pressure and operate in a fast pace environment
