***Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Tasks**:

- Assist in developing and implementing action plans and training programs for the capacity building interventions with TSIs.
- Ensure the delivery of support services and technical assistance to the TSIs including assistance with developing business plans and implementing capacity building strategies, and monitoring performance of TSIs after receiving technical assistance.
- Support the Trade Services Director in seeking to sustain and develop business models for the TSIs through finding opportunities and ways of generating income from the new services and initiatives.
- Maintain the development of assessment tools and other resources relevant to the business improvement needs of TSIs.
- Follow-up on the key performance indicators (KPIs) for delivery of technical assistance and establish processes to capture them and produce timely reports.
- Ensure the capacity building service and related activities are valued and trusted by TSIs’ staff and members.
- Implement quality assurance and performance monitoring systems incorporated into daily practice.
- Ensure the capacity building service and related activities in line with the contractual targets, outputs and outcomes and that the service is delivered on time and on budget in line with capacity building plans.
- Monitor activity budgets for support services and related activities to ensure that expenditures are within approved budget parameters and meet appropriate financial reporting and regulatory requirements, identifying any potential risks, deficits and need for additional resources.
- Support in the contractual and organizational Monitoring and Evaluation processes for the Capacity Building services of R2 as required.
- Assist in producing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on engaging with TSIs and delivering accurate and timely reporting on stakeholders’ queries.
- Conduct any other tasks as may be assigned by the Trade Services Director.

**Required Qualifications**:

- University degree in business, finance, accounting, or public administration.
- Post-graduate studies in Business Administration or Business Management will be considered as an advantage.
- 7-10 years of work experience, including experience in consulting management, organizational strategy development and/or management advisory roles.
- Sound knowledge and experience in developing and implementing organizational change, continuous improvement, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Experience in project management and monitoring and evaluation.
- Demonstrated capabilities in handling client needs, identifying constraints, and designing interventions to address root causes.
- Good understanding of managerial challenges and issues of public and private organizations.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Good communication skills including proficiency in English language, report writing skills and ability to relate with high levels of business and government executives.
- A good understanding of international trade, business support organizations, SME business challenges and issues related to the internationalization of SMEs will be considered as an additional advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with staff and partners in a cross-cultural environment.

**Project Overview and Role**:
USAID’s Trade Reform and Development in Egypt (TRADE) project builds on decades of U.S. investments in Egyptian businesses and economic policy with the aim of substantially increasing Egyptian exports from Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The TRADE project focuses on six selected sectors: engineering products, food processing, home têxtiles, ready-made garments, chemicals, and building materials. Through the project, USAID works with the Government of Egypt to improve the trade and investment policy environment and reduce barriers to trade.
