**Job Objective**

The Center Manager (CM) acts as the general manager for a GEPD plasma Donation Center (DC), responsible for managing and optimizing the whole operations related to the DC including financial, marketing, administrative, regulatory, quality, personnel, systems, supplies, equipment and other infrastructure\facility-related controls.

CM has the overall accountability for the daily operations, staff-related activities, quality control, compliance with all applicable policies & regulations, optimize operational efficiency and establishes a work environment that foster operational excellence.

- This is a local position based in New Cairo, Egypt
- Basic understanding of Arabic language is required
- The contract of this position is a local contract.

**Environment**

Internal: Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Administration & Services divisions, and Grifols Egypt for Plasma Derivatives plasma general management.
External: donors, Health Authorities, government agencies, patient groups, business service providers, auditors, and community and neighborhood organizations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**People Management & development**
- Establish a work environment that foster operational excellence.
- Ensure all employees are properly, timely, and efficiently trained on the relevant technical areas.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching for center’s employees.
- Develop & retain talents, through regular meetings, goal check-ins, development plans, etc.
- Administer regular check-ins and year-end performance review & development plans, etc.
- Assist in management of the recruiting process.
- Support and conduct teams’ trainings.
- Leading the periodic medical\operational meetings.

**Operations management**
- Supervise the operations within the center.
- Monitor donor recruitment and retention, ensure efficient donor flow, and implement donor retention improvement and corrective action plans.
- Attaining donation goals with the highest level of quality and compliance.
- Monitor net yields and implement improvement plans.
- Perform analysis of related data to promote efficient operations.
- Proactive operational processes enhancement and risk management.
- Oversees product and biohazard waste shipments: Ensures shipments meet regulatory specifications and product release requirements from the donor center; ensures accurate labeling and documentation; and authorizes final shipment**.**:

- Resolve related facility issues and manage inquiries for facility information.
- Manage all aspects of financial oversight; setting annual budget and ensure center meets monthly financial targets.
- Provide leadership to ensure donor retention with high customer service levels.
- Create organizational culture and value systems which stimulate the morale and productivity.
- Operate the center and manage employees to the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
- Provide strategic planning for donor center growth.
- With the marketing team, provide strategic inputs for marketing plans, follow up on execution, provide analytics and insights for optimization.
- Provide public\institutional presentations for awareness and donor recruitment activities
- Establish partnership with relevant governmental and private entities for brand equity and donor’s recruitment.

**Quality & Compliance**:

- Ensure that the center is operating with high compliance level to company’s policies, procedures and regulations.
- Deviation management and CAPA development with timely implementation.
- Manage center’s audit processes and help to resolve any related issues.
- Ensure timely response and closure to audit observations.
- Fulfills all responsibilities as defined by Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) for “Responsible Person” of a plasma collection center.
- Recommend changes and improvements to SOPs.
- Work closely with the center quality team to enhance the operational compliance and ensure that the proper risk mitigation plans are in plac**e.**

**Back up for center physician**:
Part of the qualification for being a certified CM, is the onboarding and certification on center physician role, serving as backup at any time to fulfilling the business needs:

- Donor acceptance and deferral according to the relevant policies and procedures.
- Observe and coach the donor center technicians and phlebotomists.
- Donor counseling to individuals with unacceptable results,
- Management of Donor Adverse Event Reactions
