You will be working as Production Development Engineer & will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to our Production Development Manager and will be responsible for optimizing the production organization’s assembly methods, processes and equipment in order to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety

**Your responsibilities**:

- Defining the working phase sequence of a new production process in order to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget, ensuring appropriate production methods, cycle-time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets
- Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implementing improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality and cost requirements
- Ensuring the production process complies with the project targets, approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final tests with respect to the project
- Providing support to production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources
- Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria and external provider choices

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- production engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role. Having experience in autocad /green belt six sigma is preferred
- Fluency in English language is mandatory
