**Job Title: Database Administrator (DBA)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Database Design & Implementation**:

- Design, implement, and maintain database architectures primarily in MSSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Oracle.
- Create and optimize database schemas, tables, and indexes for efficient data retrieval and storage.
- **Performance Optimization**:

- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to optimize efficiency and responsiveness across all database platforms.
- Implement tuning strategies to improve query performance and reduce latency.
- **Data Integrity & Security**:

- Ensure data integrity through regular backups, replication, and disaster recovery planning.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data, including user access controls and data encryption.
- **Database Maintenance**:

- Conduct regular database maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and performance assessments.
- Automate routine database maintenance tasks to improve efficiency.
- **Collaboration & Support**:

- Provide support and guidance to other teams on database-related issues and best practices.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Prepare and present reports on database performance, utilization, and security status to management.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with a strong focus on MSSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Oracle.
- Experience with additional database platforms (MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus.
- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, with experience in database scripting and programming.
- Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and indexing strategies.
- Familiarity with cloud database solutions and deployment (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is an advantage.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
