**GENERAL PURPOSE**

A leading Maritime company in the offshore Oil & Gas services is seeking a project manager to be responsible for managing and executing of assigned projects to the department.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Office responsibilities (shall include but not limited to)**
- Proactively manage assigned projects execution.
- Proactively identify & bring to the attention of projects director any potential problems which could delay development & cost deviations during projects execution.
- Assist in Preparation of project documents (work installation procedure, lifting plans, inspection test plan.....etc)
- Determine and preparation of project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; sequencing project elements(Work packages & activities).
- oversee of fabrication activities at yard & sites.
- Follow up with procurement department regarding any project requirments.
- Supervision of projects / field engineers.
- Ensure the assign projects are being executed within the determined budget and time.
- Ensure all projects milestones are being well reported and closed out and invoiced as per contractual requirments.

**Site responsibilities (shall include but not limited to)**
- Oversee the performance of the project activities onboard the marine unit as per the approved work procedure and project specifications.
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; preparing progress report; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Provide effective Interface and coordination with Client Representative, barge Master, Subcontractors and Project team to ensure the scope of work is completed in accordance with approved procedures.
- Organize appropriate meetings with the Clients / Diving, projects & construction teams.
- Ensuring all work is undertaken in a safe manner and in line with company health and safety guidelines/policies.
- oversee QC documents (WPS, WPQ, NDT Reports, welding maps, welding logs, traceability
- ..etc) as per projects specs.
- oversee the Preparation and submittal of field site reports and as built project documentation.
- **QHSE Responsibilities**:

- Support the organization’s policy commitments and other applicable Arrangements related to its QHSE management system.
- Take reasonable care of their own health and safety.
- Take reasonable care not to put other people - fellow employees and members of the public - at risk by what they do or don't do in the course of their work.
- Notify their line manager about any health, safety or environmental concerns they have.
- Suggest improvements and being active in the general improvement of all Systems and methods of work to ensure Company operations are carried out in a personally and environmentally safe, reliable and cost effective way.

**Requirements**:
**EDUCATION**
- BSc. Mechanical Engineering, Naval architecture, Offshore Engineering.
- Certified Project Manager.

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Excellent knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry codes & standards (API, AWS, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of the offshore installation methodologies & best practice.
- Excellent knowledge of offshore installation codes & standards (DNV, GL/Noble Denton...etc.)
- very good knowledge of EGPC contracts forms, terms & conditions.

**EXPERIENCE**
- +8 as a projects engineer/field engineer, offshore oil & gas industry.
- +3 QC related activities in projects.

**SKILLS**
- **Technical**

AUTOCAD - MS Office - PMP
- **Languages**

Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
