**Description**:
The Business Analyst helps to support and maximize the effectiveness of the Product Owner, supporting the creation of user stories to an adequate level of granularity, assessing options for technical and business feasibility and ensuring development is aligned to business outcomes. The Business Analyst is responsible for providing business information during release and iteration planning, as well as supporting the review and re-prioritization of the release backlog. Providing regular feedback by testing deliverables against user story acceptance criteria and validating that the product meets the business goals. Typically reports to the Chapter Lead.
**Job Responsibility**:
- Lead requirements gathering meetings to understand and gather business requirements, and perform gap analysis.
- Present and communicate functional requirements and use cases to the technical and development teams and ensure system meets functional and system requirements
- Contribute in design thinking sessions and requirements discussion with the business and technical stakeholders, to ensure the requirements feasibility.
- Highlight requirement gaps, disproportional construction efforts, technical challenges, impacts and any other issues.
- Being able to resolve conflicting requirements and help to conclude to agreed project scope.
- Successfully translate users’ requirements into user stories and requirements document. To ensure the requirements needed are documented in testable way. Through known
- Help the project meet schedule, business and budget objectives.
- Bridging business and technical teams and filling the gap.
- focus on looking for opportunities to improve businesses processes.
- Manges business expectations effectively.
- Being able to analyze complex scope through breakdown methodology and slice it to small related chunks.
- Support the project stakeholders all over the project cycle to clear any uncertainties and clarify any cases.
- Manage the backlog status and dependencies given the business priority.
**Required Criteria**:
- Bachelor degree in computer science or engineering is a must.
- 5+ years of relative work experience is a must. With hands on experience in developing/testing end to end solutions.
- Ability to effectively influence and lead the project team/squad during the requirements cycle.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including prioritizing, problem solving and interpersonal relationship building.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in both waterfall and agile practices
- Has analytical and structured thinking is a must.
- Mastering the business analysis tools and technics with applied experience.
- Customer oriented.
- Proven professional experience as BA IIBA certification is a plus.
- Familiar with MS tools like MS visio, excel, word, power point.
