Finance Specialist

Requisition ID: 30551- Job Location(s): New Cairo, EGWe are looking for a Finance Specialist who will manage all of Danfoss Egypt Sales Office's finance-related services, while ensuring that all financial transactions, systems, and reporting comply with company and local authority's rules, regulations, accounting principles, and standards.

This position will be based in Cairo, Egypt, and will report to the Regional Finance Manager, Turkey, Middle East and Africa.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Ensure proper financial transactions aligned with group accounting standards and local rules/legislations
- Management of all accounting records at GL, AR, AP
- Responsible for reviewing and reporting adjustments between local GAAP and IFRS
- Directly processing monthly, quarterly, yearly closing activities and reports
- Responsible for tax compliance and tax reporting-filing with external consultants (Corporate Tax, WHT, VAT, Transfer Pricing, E-Invoice, Payroll Tax, Social Security, and other regulatory filings and payments)
- Ownership of internal and external reporting audits and in meeting all deadlines
- Communication with external auditors, tax consultants, tax office, other institutions
- Managing Bank operations together with Regional Finance and Group Treasury
- Accountable for budget, cash flow forecasts and to secure good cost management within own responsibility area.
- Review, analyze and evaluate financial data and information for accuracy, consistency and transparency.
- Managing all financial operations, including loan settlements, cash flows, cheque portfolio, leasing transactions and collection activities
- Provide problem-solving, and business partnering support to internal stakeholders including guidance/training on taxation and compliance

**Background & Skills**:

- Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, or relevant field of study
- Equivalent to 8-10 years’ Finance/Accounting experience including managerial and multinational company experience
- Having one of the ACCA/ACA/CPA certificate with accounting and analysis background
- Working knowledge of local tax laws
- Experience working in an international environment
- Advanced English language proficiency and possessing effective communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and independence
- Has advanced knowledge of Excel, SAP, Quickbooks, Sage, and/or Axapta
