Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Ţanţā. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, tracking expenses, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with financial audits. The role also involves reconciling accounts and providing financial insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and preparing financial statements
  • Experience with accounting software and tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in educational or public institutions is a plus
  • Knowledge of local financial regulations and standards is advantageous
