We are looking for a Lead Backend Engineer (Solution Architect) with 7+ years of hands-on experience in (TypeScript) to lead our backend team and own the technical architecture of our platform. This role combines strong engineering expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems while guiding and mentoring a team of engineers.You will act as both technical authority and team leader, setting coding standards, designing architecture, and ensuring alignment with product and business goals.⸻Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management• Lead and mentor backend engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.• Conduct regular code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and performance feedback.• Collaborate with product managers, CTO, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.• Manage workload distribution, sprint planning, and ensure timely delivery of backend projects.Architecture & Technical Ownership• Define, design, and maintain the system architecture for backend services and APIs.• Drive adoption of microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native solutions.• Ensure backend systems are designed with scalability, fault tolerance, and security in mind.• Standardize coding practices, design patterns, and architectural guidelines across the tech team.Hands-On Engineering• Write clean, secure, and efficient code in (TypeScript).• Lead development of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring maintainability and high performance.• Oversee integration of third-party services, databases, and internal APIs.• Guide DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure smooth release cycles.Performance, Security & Reliability• Lead efforts to monitor, optimize, and scale backend systems.• Ensure high-availability of critical services and implement disaster recovery strategies.• Enforce best practices in data protection, IAM policies, and encryption standards.⸻Requirements• Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.• Experience:• 7+ years of backend development experience, with strong expertise in & TypeScript.• At least 2+ years in a technical leadership role (Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, or Architect).• Proven experience leading and mentoring teams in Agile environments.• Strong background in microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.• Proficiency with databases (SQL & NoSQL), queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).• Experience in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID, Clean Code, and architectural design patterns.• Preferred (Nice-to-Have):• Experience in fintech, wealthtech, or regulated industries.• Knowledge of CQRS, Event Sourcing, and SAGA patterns.• Exposure to serverless and event-driven solutions.If you are interested, you can apply by filling out this Google Form >>
