Role Overview:

We're looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to join our Cairo engineering team and lead the development of Mobadala's secure and high-performance back-end infrastructure.

You will build and optimize core modules supporting multi-wallet operations, cashback calculations, referral logic, and third-party integrations — ensuring scalability, reliability, and financial-grade security.

Key Responsibilities:


• Architect, develop, and maintain robust server-side logic using Python, Laravel, and


• Manage and optimize Mobadala's dual-wallet system (Purchase Wallet + Rewards Wallet).


• Design and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with front-end / Flutter) and affiliate partners.


• Integrate and maintain payment gateway and payout APIs (Visa Direct, PayTabs, , etc.).


• Develop secure data and transaction workflows aligned with fintech compliance standards.


• Implement caching, load-balancing, and background-processing mechanisms for high traffic.


• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and server optimization.


• Support integration with Odoo ERP for accounting and reconciliation automation.


• Troubleshoot, test, and improve performance across all environments.

Qualifications & Requirements:


• 5+ years of hands-on experience in back-end development.


• Strong command of Python frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI) and Laravel or


• Deep understanding of API design, database architecture (MySQL / PostgreSQL), and data security.


• Experience with payment gateways, wallet systems, or fintech products.


• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure).


• Proven ability to design scalable systems and maintain code quality in production environments.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills — ability to collaborate across tech, product, and finance teams.

Preferred:


• Prior experience integrating affiliate / commission systems or Odoo ERP.


• Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven design.


• Background in fintech, loyalty platforms, or e-commerce ecosystems
