  1. Academic Qualifications

  2. DBA or PhD in Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, or a related research-based discipline.

  3. Preferably with specialization in Research Methods, Statistics, or Data Analysis.

  4. Holding a recognized teaching qualification or professional certification is an advantage (e.g., PGCert, CELTA, or equivalent).

  5. Professional Experience

  6. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in higher education or professional training centers.

  7. Demonstrated experience in teaching or supervising research projects, dissertations, or MBA/DBA theses.

  8. Familiarity with academic standards and assessment requirements of UK awarding bodies (e.g., ATHE, CMI, OTHM, or universities such as UoG / LEB).

  9. Proven ability to guide learners through research proposal writing, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

  10. Knowledge and Skills

  11. Excellent understanding of:


• Quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.


• Sampling techniques, validity & reliability concepts.


• Data analysis tools such as SPSS, Excel, or NVivo.


• Referencing styles (Harvard / APA).


• Ethical considerations in research.

  • Strong ability to explain complex research concepts in an accessible and practical way.

  • Strong command of English language (spoken and written).

  • Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on research proposals and final reports.

  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management.

  • Collaborative and adaptable to institutional standards.

  • Enthusiastic about learner-centered and applied teaching methods.

  • Preferred (Not Mandatory)

  • Previous experience teaching OTHM / ATHE / CMI Research Methodology modules.

  • Experience with supervising MBA or DBA learners.

  • Familiarity with Turnitin and academic integrity policies.

  • Ability to deliver both online and on-campus sessions.
