Role Purpose:
Quarcom is seeking a
Mechanical Tender Engineer
to join its tendering department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical and commercial bids, reviewing project documents, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting pricing strategies for MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Prepare
    BOQs, cost estimates, and technical/commercial proposals
    for HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing systems.
  • Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Develop value engineering solutions and ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Prepare tender clarifications, technical submittals, and compliance sheets.
  • Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and project teams during tendering and handover phases.
  • Support cost analysis, budgeting, and pricing strategy development.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineerin
    g (required)
  • .2–4 years of experienc
    e in MEP tendering (HVAC, firefighting, plumbing)
  • .Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and contracting processes
  • .Excellent analytical and cost estimation skills
  • .Strong communication and supplier negotiation skills
  • .Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • .Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
