Job Summary:

The Structural Engineer- Concrete will be supporting power generation, energy, and infrastructure projects, producing detailed reinforced concrete designs under supervision, ensuring compliance with Egyptian codes and international.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analysis/ Design and prepare reinforced concrete drawings for foundations, slabs, beams, and columns.
  • Apply ECP, ACI, and Eurocode criteria to design calculations and reports.
  • Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and electrical teams to integrate structural elements.
  • Review contractor shop drawings, raise technical queries, and verify as-built conditions during site visits.
  • Assist in quantity take-offs and bar-bending schedules for tender submissions.

Qualifications Required:

  • 1–5 years of concrete design experience in energy/ Industrial projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering
  • Experience in large-scale & Industrial projects
  • Registered engineer with the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate or equivalent professional body+
  • Egyptian Concrete Code (ECP), ACI, and Eurocode, seismic design provisions.
  • Fundamentals of power plant and substation structural requirements.
  • Shallow and deep foundation design under variable soil conditions.
  • Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD Pro for structural modeling.
  • Strong Excel skills for load combinations and design checks.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
