Production Specialist (Woven Apparel) – Egypt Operations

About Our Partner

We are partnering with a leading global fashion brand committed to sustainable and ethical production practices. We are looking for a Production Specialist to oversee and manage production operations with local manufacturers in Egypt. The role will ensure that quality, cost, and delivery targets are consistently met while maintaining strong supplier relationships and production efficiency.

Position: Production Coordinator (Woven & Knitwear)

Location: Egypt (field-based role)

Reports to: Global Production / Supply Chain Department

Travel Requirement: Frequent (across supplier facilities)

  • Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the main point of contact between the brand's central production team and local suppliers in Egypt
  • Monitor and coordinate production schedules to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
  • Supervise woven and knitwear product categories throughout sampling, production, and shipment stages
  • Ensure production processes align with the brand's technical specifications and sustainability requirements
  • Review technical packs, approve samples, and follow up on production progress with suppliers
  • Identify and resolve technical or process-related issues during production
  • Analyze production efficiency, report on KPIs, and implement process improvements

  • Maintain strong and trustworthy relationships with local manufacturers to ensure long-term collaboration

  • QualificationsBachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in garment manufacturing, ideally with woven and knitwear product groups
  • Solid understanding of international production standards, quality control, and production planning
  • Prior experience working in Egypt or similar sourcing regions is a strong advantage
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken); Arabic is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in field-based production settings
