Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Foreign Procurement Engineer specialized in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at our office in Qesm 1st Nasr City. The role involves sourcing and procuring mechanical and electrical equipment and components from international suppliers. Responsibilities include evaluating supplier quotations, ensuring quality standards are met, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with the engineering and project teams. The selected candidate will also be involved in maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring timely delivery of equipment aligned with project schedules and specifications.

Qualifications

  • Maximum 1 year of experience
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering with knowledge and experience in Maintenance and Automotive systems.
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and other relevant design or engineering software.
  • Experience in conducting thorough Inspections and ensuring quality standards for mechanical and electrical components.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to handle supplier relationships effectively.
  • Fluency in English for communication with international suppliers; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in foreign procurement or supply chain management, especially in infrastructure projects, is highly desirable.
