We're Hiring – Mechanical Engineer – Civil Works

MLS Transport and Maintenance Company – Construction Department is looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in 6th of October City, Egypt

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement roles within construction companies

Skills:

Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and drainage systems, with the ability to coordinate mechanical works with civil and structural designs.

Skilled in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress, and managing subcontractors and resources efficiently.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), and MS Project; strong skills in preparing technical drawings, reports, and documentation.

Committed to implementing quality assurance and HSE standards across all project activities.

Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills within multidisciplinary project teams.

Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.

Job Objectives:

Coordinate with civil and architectural teams to ensure mechanical designs align with structural and architectural requirements and resolve any clashes.

Supervise mechanical site works including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting, and pumping systems, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Prepare and update project schedules and technical reports, monitor progress, and highlight any delays or obstacles to management.

Manage subcontractors and technical teams, ensuring quality of workmanship and adherence to safety standards on site.

Conduct testing and commissioning of mechanical systems and prepare handover documentation in accordance with project requirements.

Participate in infrastructure and utilities design and execution, including water supply, drainage networks, pump rooms, and central air conditioning systems.
