Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm 1st New Cairo for a Senior External Auditor. The Senior External Auditor will lead and execute external audit engagements for a diverse client base, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Responsibilities include assessing financial statements, identifying potential risks, providing insightful recommendations, and mentoring junior auditors to ensure the accuracy and integrity of audits. Collaboration with clients to manage expectations and maintain relationships is a key component of the role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Audit Practices, External Audit Processes, and Risk Assessment
  • Strong Analytical, Financial Reporting, and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Excellent Communication, Client Management, and Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to oversee and mentor junior team members effectively
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local compliance regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in external auditing
