Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior External Auditor located in Cairo, Egypt. The Senior External Auditor will be responsible for planning and executing external audits, assessing financial records, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, evaluating internal controls, and preparing detailed audit reports. Additionally, they will collaborate with stakeholders to develop actionable recommendations for improved financial practices and risk management.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in External Auditing, Financial Analysis, and Compliance Assessment
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with clients
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred
  • Proficiency in auditing software and knowledge of systems such as ERP is an advantage
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple audits and deadlines
