Electrical Pre Sales Engineer

Presales Support:

  • Engage with customers to understand their business needs, technical requirements, and project challenges.
  • Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations of electrical system solutions.
  • Respond to RFPs and RFIs by preparing detailed technical documentation and electrical solution designs,
    and creating RFPs
    when needed.
  • UPS System Design
    : UPS sizing and selection according to power consumption, battery calculations, designing SLD according to redundancy level, submitting UPS layout drawings, selecting galvanic isolation transformers if required, and calculating battery rack dimensions.

Solution Design:

  • Design and architect electrical systems for projects, including LV/MV distribution, power control, and backup systems.
  • Conduct load calculations, capacity planning, and technical validation to ensure solutions meet client needs.

Technical Consultation:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for electrical systems and technologies during customer discussions.
  • Provide technical advisory on system optimization, energy efficiency, and scalability.
  • Recommend best practices for electrical system design, deployment, and maintenance.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales teams to align technical proposals with business strategies.
  • Partner with post-sales implementation teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to stay updated on the latest technologies and market trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including LV/MV distribution, power control, backup systems, and energy efficiency solutions.
  • Experience with technologies from leading electrical equipment vendors such as Schneider Electric, ABB, Siemens, Eaton, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards, safety codes, and compliance requirements for commercial, industrial, and data center projects.
  • Hands-on expertise in electrical load calculations, capacity planning, and power system design.
  • Familiarity with power monitoring systems, UPS systems, and integration with mechanical and control systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to design the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with sales, design, and project teams.

Experience:

  • 3:5 years of experience in a presales, electrical design, or solutions engineering role, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or data center projects.
  • Proven experience in architecting, designing, or implementing electrical power solutions.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient user of:
    Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, DIALux, CalcLux, ReLux, DOC, Ecodial
