Project Overview:

Bechtel is pursuing a significant new award of work in Egypt. The Project will cover the development of luxurious residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, tourism amenities, and economic zones. If successful, Bechtel's contract for the delivery of this project will be for project management and construction management services.

Job Summary:

• In this you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining assurance frameworks that ensure project and organizational compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. This role plays a critical part in risk mitigation, continuous improvement, and stakeholder confidence across all phases of delivery.
• You will lead a team of Systems Engineering specialists and be accountable for supervising and managing the work of the customer's designers and contractors in the delivery of assurance data base in compliance to emploer's requirement.
• You will coordinate and collaborate with all the teams Engineering / Construction delivery ,Stakeholder Management, Contracts & Procurement and Start-up/Commissioning as required through all stages of the Project life cycle
• Your technical expertise and coordination will ensure outcomes meet customer and project requirements.

Major Responsibilities:

• Plans, develops, directs, and participates in the day-to-day Systems Engineering activity on small to medium sized projects or a portion of a major project with minimal to moderate complexity within a global business unit
• Manages and approves the means of verifying requirements implementation, including acceptance criteria
• Manages the preparation of impact analyses for proposed requirement changes
• Supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of personnel assigned, estimates staffing needs and schedules and assigns work accordingly
• Prepares or oversees the preparation of Systems Engineering discipline estimates and work plans in accordance with project scope, schedule and budget, and manages implementation and performance accordingly
• Ensures that systems engineers, scientists, and technologists supervised receive appropriate on-the-job training for their professional development
• Develop and manage the project or organizational assurance strategy and framework.
• Lead internal and external audits to verify compliance with contractual, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Monitor performance against quality, safety, and environmental benchmarks.
• Identify non-conformances and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to embed assurance processes into planning, design, and execution phases.
• Maintain assurance documentation, registers, and reporting dashboards.
• Provide training and guidance on assurance procedures and best practices.
• Liaise with clients, regulators, and third-party auditors to demonstrate compliance and performance.
• Support risk management by identifying assurance-related risks and mitigation strategies.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-16 years of relevant experience or 15-17 years of relevant work experience
