Job Description

The Senior Quality Assurance Automation Officer will be responsible for contributing to the automation goals of Eastnets products and projects and participating in managing the full automation life cycle.

In this role, he/ she will be responsible for reviewing automation requirements, developing scripts, handling execution requests, maintaining existing scripts, and analyzing results for each testing cycle.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Decompose requirements and develop test automation scripts for projects.

  • Increase automation in the product area and build more robust testing.

  • Handle test execution requests and provide test results summary reports.

  • Understand and analyze the application under test in terms of Object Identification.

  • Track progress and report metrics to the Test Manager.

  • Handle automation environments.

  • Actively participates in process improvements.

  • Demonstrate a mature and sophisticated approach to problem-solving.

  • Maintains the security of the information, devices and systems that Eastnets, and its personnel, customers and partners use.

  • Protect Eastnets business information and any customer, supplier or partner information within its custody by safeguarding its confidentiality, integrity and availability.

  • Adhere to and comply with Eastnets internal security policies, Code of Ethics, Non-Disclosure Policy, Non-Compete Policy, Email Policy, Proprietary Rights Acknowledgement, Background Check Policy, and all other internal policies and employee handbook.

  • Participate in the company's wide initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Degree or relevant international technical qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant Engineering field.

  • 5-7 years of experience in Test Automation.

  • Proficient at preparing test data and managing defects.

  • Ability to understand and maintain automation frameworks.

  • Knowledge of automation tools; Selenium, Java or other tools like JMeter.

  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Independent and capable of resolving and identifying product issues.

  • Good time management and respecting deadlines.

  • Knowledge of database queries, different Application Servers, and Web/Windows Services.

  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their application is a strong plus.

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with teams.

  • Very good communication skills.

  • Any scripting knowledge is a plus.
