Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Sales Engineer, based in Cairo. The Mechanical Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying customer needs, preparing and presenting technical solutions, and managing pre-sales and post-sales relationships. Day-to-day tasks include developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, preparing and delivering sales presentations, creating technical proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction. The role also involves staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and systems, including an educational background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in sales, identifying customer needs, and creating tailored technical proposals
  • Skills in relationship building, customer service, and effective communication
  • Proficiency in using software relevant to mechanical engineering and sales processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions that best fit client requirements
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written communication); knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in the industrial sector is advantageous
