Job Summary:

The Commercial Director is responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability across local and international markets for blankets and textile products. The role leads sales (local & export), marketing, pricing, and customer service, ensuring strong market positioning, optimized margins, and sustainable commercial performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Commercial Strategy & Growth:


• Develop and execute the commercial strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.


• Define market segmentation (retail, wholesale, institutional, export).


• Lead market expansion into local, private-label and export accounts.


• Define product portfolio strategy (blankets, home textiles, seasonal lines).

  1. Sales & Export Management:


• Lead local sales, export sales, key accounts, and channel management.


• Build and manage distributor, agent, and retailer networks.


• Oversee export sales contracts, pricing, commissions, and Incoterms.


• Ensure alignment between sales forecasts and production capacity.

  1. Pricing, Margin & Profitability:


• Own pricing strategy based on cost structure, market positioning, and competition.


• Control discounts, rebates, and promotions.


• Monitor gross margin by product, customer, and market.


• Reduce margin leakage and improve customer profitability.

  1. Marketing & Brand Management:


• Define brand positioning and go-to-market strategy.


• Oversee marketing campaigns, exhibitions, trade fairs, and product launches.


• Support private-label and branding strategies.


• Monitor customer trends and competitor activities.


• Drive customer retention and long-term partnerships.


• Handle any other tasks related to the role.

Job Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing.


• MBA preferred.


• 15–20 years of experience in commercial leadership roles.


• Strong exposure to textile / blankets / FMCG manufacturing.


• Proven experience in export markets & distributor management.


• Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.


• High integrity, independence, and analytical capability.
