About the Role

We are looking for a
Country Logistics Outbound (Export) Specialist
to oversee export documentation, invoice validation, and daily operational processes.

The role requires excellent coordination, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth, compliant, and cost-effective export operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Documentation Management

• Ensure all export documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with international trade regulations.
• Coordinate daily with Planning, Brokers, Labs, and Shipping Lines to support seamless shipment execution.
• Update shipment tracking reports and maintain accurate records in the Track & Trace system.
• Follow up on the timely issuance of Certificates of Origin and Certificates of Conformity.
• Review and dispatch full documentation sets to customers within agreed timelines.
• Conduct weekly meetings with internal and external teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Close monthly export volumes through SAP invoicing and maintain organized documentation archives.

2. Invoicing & Financial Validation

• Manage and validate payment cycles for logistics vendors (trucking, shipping lines, customs, courier, etc.).
• Conduct regular reviews with suppliers to ensure on-time payment and resolve any disputes.
• Prepare quarterly accruals for all logistics-related services, including clearance, freight, and courier.
• Analyze demurrage and detention costs, identify root causes, and negotiate with suppliers to reduce unnecessary expenses.
• Drive digitalization initiatives to automate invoice validation and enhance process efficiency.
• Develop SOPs and SLAs for logistics operations and vendor performance.
• Support cost control and process improvement projects to enhance overall supply chain performance.

3. Export Operations & Execution

• Oversee daily export activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution of shipping plans.
• Conduct daily operational meetings (DDS) to monitor loading results and plan performance.
• Coordinate with warehousing, planning, and trucking teams to align shipment schedules.
• Manage container and truck allocations to optimize utilization and reduce downtime.
• Follow up on customs clearance and port operations to ensure shipments meet vessel cut-offs.
• Prepare and monitor loading plans in SAP and share daily updates with relevant departments.
• Control depot yard operations, ensuring container flow aligns with shipment schedules.
• Track and analyze trucker performance using scorecards and provide feedback for improvement.
• Monitor safety stock levels to maintain continuous export flow and prevent disruptions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in
  Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration
  , or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience
  in
  export logistics, outbound operations, or supply chain management
  within FMCG or industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of
  international shipping, documentation, and customs clearance
  processes.
• Proficient in
  SAP
  and
  Microsoft Office Suite
  .
• Excellent
  analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  .
• Fluent in
  English and Arabic
  (spoken and written).
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure.
