Cairo, Egypt (On-Site)

• Management Skills:
• Directs the day-to-day activities of the ITV team for successful ITV project scope delivery.
• Plans, coordinates, and monitors the performance of the work, identifies and manages risks during all the project lifecycle until the closure.
• Liaises with the Solution Engineering Manager and PMO for all aspects relating to the ITV scope.
• Manages all ITV scope activities (including those relating to budget, risks and opportunities) to reach completion of the project.
• Establish priorities with the team when unplanned work is being requested.
• Monitoring, tracking and reporting on workload results by continuous communication to incumbents and Manager.
• Directs and delegates specific tasks to staff, both in-house and in the field.
• Maintains Project Tracking by monitoring performance against budget and schedule, performance metrics collection and
• interpretation, weekly and monthly reporting.
• Performs early risk identification and mitigation through corrective actions.
• Supports resource management, including organizing and developing staff, task assignments, labor forecasts within the
• group, motivating, coaching and training, and maintenance of skill base.
• Provides for Project Planning and Re-planning, including the preparation of all artefacts required (estimates, schedules, estimates to complete, work breakdown structures and Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Reports, traceability matrices) to deliver
• Delivers the test and verification program within the cost and schedule targets.
• Works in conjunction with Manager to ensure all recommendations (such as training, tools, etc.) adhere to overall departmental budget.
• Technical Skills:
• Responsible for the implementation of a vigorous CBTC Signaling system integration and validation program.
• Responsible for developing the CBTC Signaling ITV lab capabilities to increase the local test campaigns
• Responsible for maintaining adherence to company and departmental standard processes and policies.
• To approve plans, procedures and reports produced by the ITV department.
• To ensure adequate knowledge of the system design for validation and verification purposes
• Propose and implement approved process improvements (such as increased test automation) to increase the effectiveness of the test process.
• To ensure that the CBTC Signalling ITV team adheres to company's process
• To ensure the digital transformation in compliance with company's process
• Safety:
• To ensure adequate coverage of the CBTC Signaling safety requirements in the test program.
• To ensure adequate coverage of the CBTC Signaling safety requirements in the verification program.
• Communication Skills:
• Well-developed verbal skills to interact effectively and professionally in a variety of forums.
• Well-developed writing skills to prepare effective reports, documents, etc. in a clear and concise format.
• Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills needed to deal confidently, courteously, and correctly with both internal and external people at any level.
• Soft Skills:
• Developing and maintaining a highly motivated team. Provide effective leadership.
• Being a mentor to junior members of the department.
• Maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the job and in relations with others.
• Aptitude:
• Making timely decisions, both independently and in concert with others, after a thorough evaluation of all relevant factors.

Key Requirements:

• B.A.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Systems, validation and verification experience for real time and/or safety critical system.
• CBTC (Communication-Based Train Control) or domain knowledge in Rail Signaling
• Experience leading a team
• Strong communication skills. Must be fluent in English language.
• Systems Engineering or equivalent
