Job Purpose:
The
Senior Human Resources Specialist
is responsible for supporting and executing the full range of HR operations at Egyptian Cement. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, compensation, and ensuring compliance with Egyptian labor laws. The role plays a key part in aligning HR practices with the company's goals and fostering a professional, productive, and engaging workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the full recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs and preparing job descriptions to screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Coordinate onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration and engagement of new employees.
- Maintain a strong employer brand and ensure a positive candidate experience.
2. Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, performance, and workplace matters.
- Support in handling grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions in line with company policy and labor law.
- Promote a healthy, collaborative, and inclusive work culture.
3. Performance Management
- Coordinate the company's performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year, and annual reviews.
- Support department managers in developing performance improvement plans.
- Analyze performance data to identify talent gaps and training needs.
4. Compensation & Benefits
- Assist in the administration of payroll, salary adjustments, and benefits programs.
- Participate in salary benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Support the design and implementation of employee recognition and reward initiatives.
5. Training & Development
- Coordinate training programs and workshops to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Monitor training effectiveness and maintain training records.
- Support the development of succession and career planning frameworks.
6. HR Policies & Compliance
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and aligned with Egyptian labor law and corporate standards.
- Maintain accurate employee files and HR documentation.
- Support internal and external audits related to HR operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience
in human resources, preferably within the
cement, manufacturing, or industrial sector
. - Strong knowledge of
Egyptian labor law, social insurance, and taxation regulations
. - Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
and
HR systems (ERP/HRIS)
. - High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Fluency in
English and Arabic
(written and spoken).
