The company develops software and hardware solutions for various industries, focusing on providing secure IoT tracking and connectivity solutions to enhance business processes.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Stack Engineer at Cypod Solutions located in Cairo, Egypt. The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for both front-end and back-end web development, software development, and utilizing Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for design implementation.

Your daily activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, build, test, and maintain APIs, backend services, as well as frontend components in our core IOT platform and take ownership of your work.
  • Design and implement client-specific requirements.
  • Integrate with internal and external systems.
  • Take part in system-level design, database design, & feature design alongside squad members.
  • Work in a cross-platform team within a dynamic, agile environment.
  • Analyze client requirement documents and turn them into features.
  • Document changes to aid other developers and collaborators

Qualifications

  • Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent degree is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, OOP, design principles, data structures, algorithms, and database design (SQL knowledge is a must), etc.
  • Willing to take ownership of systems the developer works on.
  • Extensive experience working with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working with Python and any of its frameworks, Flask/Django.
  • Experience with designing and implementing APIs and WebSockets.
  • Proactive & initiative-taker person.
  • Advanced English is required.
  • Ability to travel 0-20%.

Nice to Have

  • DevOps experience with AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Adequate Unit testing experience in JS and PGoogle Sython.
  • Experience with react-native.
  • Experience working with GoLang.
  • Experience deploying mobile apps on Google Store/App Store.
  • Experience using job queues and message queues as RabbitMQ.
  • Skills for CI/CD, experience with containerization and microservices.
