, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Steel Structure Engineer

to contribute to complex industrial and construction projects,
leading and managing
a team of structural engineers.

Key Responsibilities1. Technical Leadership & Design

• Lead
  the design and analysis of various
  steel support structures
  for MEP systems and industrial applications.
• Perform
  advanced structural analysis
  and generate design calculations using specialized software, with a mandatory focus on
  Staad Pro
  .
• Ensure all designs fully comply with relevant
  international design codes
  (e.g., AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes) and project specifications.
• Prepare, review, and approve
  technical reports, detailed design drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
  related to steel structures.
• Conduct
  design reviews
  and provide support during the fabrication and installation phases, resolving any site-related technical issues.

2. Engineering Team Management

• Manage and mentor
  a team of structural engineers, overseeing their daily tasks, performance, and professional development.
• Allocate resources effectively
  across multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Establish and enforce
  standardized engineering processes, best practices, and quality control procedures within the structural design department.
• Coordinate
  and interface effectively with other engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) and the manufacturing team to ensure design integration and smooth workflow.
• Act as the
  primary technical point of contact
  for internal and external stakeholders regarding steel structure design.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education:
  Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree is a plus).
• Experience:
  Minimum of 7-10 years
  of proven experience in structural design, with a significant focus on
  steel support systems, industrial structures, or heavy fabrication projects.
• Crucially, this experience must include demonstrated experience in managing and leading an engineering design team.
• Software Proficiency (Mandatory):
  Expert proficiency in Staad Pro
  for modeling, analysis, and design of steel structures.
• Software Proficiency (Additional):
  Familiarity with AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or other relevant BIM/structural analysis software.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Strong command of
  steel design codes
  and deep understanding of structural mechanics, dynamic analysis, and connection design.
• Location:
  Preferably residing near or willing to commute to
  Giza - 6th of October City
  .
• Soft Skills:
  Excellent analytical, problem-solving,
  leadership, delegation, and coaching
  skills. Strong communication skills (both Arabic and English are a plus).
