We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Magento Developer to lead the back-end development of our eCommerce and internal applications. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with our marketing calendar and business objectives.

You will work closely with Product Managers, Front-end Developers, Designers, and the IT team to introduce new features, enhance user experience, and ensure system stability across all platforms.

This role requires strong technical expertise, ownership of the full application development lifecycle, and the ability to mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Magento-based solutions and internal applications using clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
  • Focus on application development lifecycle besides performance optimization
  • Optimize application performance, security, and reliability across all environments.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis of application issues.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and impact analysis.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and ongoing support to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Developers, and System Administrators to introduce and roll out new features aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in coding standards, security, and DevOps processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in back-end development, with at least 3 years of hands-on Magento experience.
  • Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel frameworks.
  • Solid experience integrating with relational databases such as MariaDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Proven ability to work with REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Deep understanding of the complete web development process (design, development, testing, and deployment).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
