About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Senior Accountant

to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support management with financial insights. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently while guiding junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Handle monthly closing processes and reconcile accounts.
  • Review and approve journal entries, payments, and expense reports.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities with management.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accountants and accounting assistants.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of financial policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum
    3–5 years

of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of
Egyptian accounting standards

and
tax regulations

.
- Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel

and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo, or ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
  • Experience in preparing management reports and financial analysis.
  • Prior experience in a multinational or medium-to-large organization.
