Billing Specialist

Go Physical Therapy is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support our billing operations and ensure accurate, timely financial processing across our clinics. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, familiarity with medical billing practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and submit accurate claims for physical therapy services.
Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and required authorizations.
Resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies with insurance companies.
Communicate with patients regarding balances, payment options, and billing inquiries.
Track accounts receivable, post payments, and follow up on outstanding claims.
Maintain organized and compliant documentation according to company and payer guidelines.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure proper coding and billing workflow.
Generate billing and A/R reports for management review.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in medical billing, preferably in physical therapy or outpatient clinics.
Knowledge of CPT codes, insurance verification, authorizations, and claim submission.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in billing software and MS Office applications.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
