  • Build a rapport with various project managers to discuss, negotiate, and offer different company industrial products.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical specifications for paint products and related solutions across multiple business divisions.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure all specifications meet regulatory, industry, and customer requirements.
  • Review and update product documentation to reflect changes in materials, processes, or standards.
  • Provide technical support to sales, marketing, and customer service teams regarding product specifications and application guidelines.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align product specifications with business objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct regular audits of product specifications to ensure ongoing compliance with local and international standards.
  • Analyze customer and project requirements to tailor specifications for unique applications or environments.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of raw materials and suppliers based on technical criteria.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry advancements and integrate best practices into the specification process.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a specifications engineering or technical documentation role, preferably within the paints, coatings, or chemicals industry.
  • Strong understanding of technical standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Proven ability to interpret and develop detailed technical documents and specifications.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with quality assurance processes and compliance audits.
  • Proficiency in technical writing and documentation tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
