  • We are seeking a Foreign Procurement Engineer with strong technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical equipment for the energy, oil & gas, petrochemical & industrial sectors.
  • The ideal candidate will handle international sourcing, supplier communication, and technical evaluation of offers.
  • Source, evaluate, and procure mechanical and electrical equipment from international suppliers and local agents/ distributor for Foreign manufacturers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with global vendors to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
  • Coordinate with engineering, project management, and logistics teams to define technical specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and issue requests for quotations (RFQs), analyze bids, and recommend supplier selections based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Monitor and track purchase orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with local and international regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Resolve discrepancies, manage claims, and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or documentation with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for audit and project tracking purposes.
  • Continuously research and identify new suppliers, technologies, and market trends to enhance procurement strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
  • 1 2 years of experience in foreign procurement or international sourcing within the industrial or energy sector
  • Solid understanding of equipment such as Pumps Compressors Blowers Valves Boilers Turbines and Balance of Plant (BoP).
  • Familiarity with spare parts and systems used in Power Generation, Oil & Gas, and Petrochemical industries.
  • Familiarity with international procurement processes and regulations.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with global suppliers.
  • Proficiency in preparing RFQs, evaluating bids, and managing purchase orders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software/tools.
  • Fluency in English.
