Mechanical Maintenance Section Head.

Industry: Paper - Tissue Mill

Location: 10th of Ramadan, Egypt

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Section Head to join our Company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing and managing all aspects of mechanical maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the paper industry or heavy industries.

Key Responsibilities:


• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.


• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans, schedules, and emergency procedures.


• Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.


• Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments.


• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics systems.


• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.


• Experience with
vibration analysis
, alignment, and infrared thermography.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors, negotiate for the best equipment, spare parts and services, and evaluate supplier performance.


• Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.


• Build, mentor, and motivate a high-performing maintenance team through performance evaluations, targeted training, and career development opportunities.


• Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging new ideas and implementing cutting-edge technologies to improve maintenance processes and equipment reliability.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.


• Requires 8+ years of experience, including 3+ years in a Maintenance Manager role.


• Skilled in SAP ERP System and ISO standards


• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.


• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.


• specialized certificates in industrial machinery maintenance is a plus
