We are not looking for a typical HR Manager.
We are looking for a Builder.

WasteHero is reshaping modern waste infrastructure across Europe and the Middle East. We are scaling fast, and our Engineering Hub in
Cairo
is the engine room of that growth.

We have 10 engineers on the ground today.
The Goal:
Scale to 40 world-class engineers by June 2026 (with a path to 100+).

To do this, we need a
Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist
to take full ownership of the region.

You won't just fill seats. You will build the ecosystem, the physical office, and the pipeline that allows this hub to run by itself.

The Mission

This is a high-autonomy role working directly with our Danish HQ.

  • Scale the Engineering Hub:
    You own the full cycle. Python/Django, React, DevOps, QA. You are the gatekeeper of quality.
  • Build the "Home Base":
    You will lead the physical expansion of our Cairo office. You aren't just hiring people; you are creating the environment, the vibe, and the space where they love to work.
  • Hunt & Headhunt:
    We don't wait for applicants. You act as a headhunter: mapping the market, sourcing passive talent, and engaging the top 1% of engineers in Egypt.
  • Employer Branding:
    Put WasteHero on the map via meetups, university partnerships, and building a local "Tech Brand" that engineers want to join.

Who You Are

  • The Experience:
    4–7+ years in Technical Recruitment (Agency or Scale-up). You know your tech stacks and can screen engineers effectively.
  • The Network:
    You are plugged into the Egyptian tech scene. You have the phone numbers senior developers answer.
  • High Agency:
    You don't need a manager to tell you what to do today. You see the goal, and you execute.
  • Global Mindset:
    Excellent English is non-negotiable. You will collaborate daily with our European teams.
