Country Manager – Egypt & KSA (Printing & Packaging Industry)

(Frequent travel between both countries required)

Regional Director / CEO

Position Summary

The Country Manager will lead and oversee all business operations, strategic initiatives, and commercial activities for the company's printing and packaging divisions in
Egypt and Saudi Arabia
. This role requires a strong business leader with proven experience in the
printing, packaging, or related manufacturing sectors
, capable of driving growth, managing P&L, and ensuring operational excellence across both markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the business strategy for Egypt and KSA aligned with regional and corporate objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities, new markets, and potential partnerships to expand market share.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring financial targets and profitability goals are met.

2. Business Development & Sales

  • Drive top-line growth through key account management, market penetration, and customer retention.
  • Build strong relationships with major clients in FMCG, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, and industrial sectors.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform pricing, product development, and positioning strategies.

3. Operations & Supply Chain

  • Oversee manufacturing operations, production planning, procurement, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and product quality.
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices and cost-optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and corporate policies.

4. People & Team Management

  • Build, lead, and mentor cross-functional teams in Egypt and KSA (sales, operations, finance, HR, technical).
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Identify training needs and succession planning to strengthen local leadership capabilities.

5. Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Manage full P&L responsibility for Egypt and KSA operations.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and control mechanisms.
  • Optimize capital expenditure, working capital, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience:
    10–15 years in the
    printing, packaging, or manufacturing
    industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or country management role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven track record in sales growth and operational turnaround.
  • Experience managing multi-country operations, preferably across North Africa and the GCC.
  • Deep understanding of packaging materials (paperboard, corrugated, flexible packaging, etc.) and production processes.
  • Fluent in
    English and Arabic
    ; excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
