Role Description

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor Engineer with a background in Civil or Architectural engineering to join our team. The role involves working on a variety of construction projects, including both residential and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments related to project costs
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with budgets
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to provide accurate financial insights
  • Evaluate tenders and contracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements
  • Provide regular reports on project progress and financial status

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying within residential and commercial construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, cost estimation tools)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in landscape projects will be considered a significant advantage
