Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Cairo for an Electrical Sales Engineer. The Electrical Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, understanding their technical requirements, and proposing tailored solutions. The role includes delivering high-quality technical support, coordinating with internal teams to meet client needs, managing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, the position requires preparing technical proposals, conducting presentations, participating in meetings, and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales strategy and execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the electrical products and solutions market.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to ensure consistent growth.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including contractors, engineers, and project managers.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to ensure solutions meet client specifications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings.

Proposal Development:

  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions and customer needs.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications
:

  • Education
    : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience
    : Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the electrical or engineering industry.
  • Technical Knowledge
    : Strong understanding of electrical systems, products, and solutions (e.g., transformers, switchgear, control systems, etc.).
  • Sales Skills
    : Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Communication
    : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
  • Relationship Building
    : Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Problem-Solving
    : Ability to analyze client needs and provide innovative solutions.
  • Travel
    : Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
