The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards and local regulations, and supporting the Finance Manager in financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily accounting activities and ensure accuracy of transactions
  • Review journal entries, general ledger postings, and account balances
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing
  • Prepare and review monthly and annual financial reports
  • Assist in preparing Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow statements
  • Review tax calculations and filings (VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax)
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities
  • Supervise and guide accounting staff and review their work
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and local tax regulations
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (ERP systems preferred)
