About the Role

The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employee(s) in this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and activities required of the position and the employee may be required to perform additional tasks within reason, at the request of their Supervisor or Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all bank-related payments and ensure accurate, timely recording of all bank transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements against recorded transactions and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Support
    Accounts Receivable (AR)
    processes, including recording customer invoices, following up on outstanding receivables, reconciling customer accounts, and ensuring timely collection.
  • Generate monthly financial reports and provide additional analysis when required by Regional Finance.
  • Monitor, review, and validate accounting system reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
  • Provide coverage and support for other accounting functions during team absences or leave.
  • Act as a Business Coordinator, facilitating smooth communication and alignment between departments to support operational efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Accounting
  • 3–5 years of experience in Accounts and Finance, with strong exposure to Accounts Receivable
  • Advanced MS Office skills and proficiency in relevant accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
