Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior QA Engineer located in Cairo. The Senior QA Engineer will lead and execute quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities include designing and implementing test plans, performing manual and automated testing, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. The role also involves maintaining quality standards and implementing continuous improvement practices for QA processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manual and automated testing, including developing and executing test cases and scripts.
  • Proficiency in quality assurance strategies, software development life cycle (SDLC), and defect tracking systems.
  • Strong knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Ability to write and maintain test automation scripts using tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
