Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced
Senior Backend Engineer (Laravel)
to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain backend services that power robust, high-availability SaaS and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities


• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend logic using Laravel.


• Collaborate with frontend and product teams to integrate systems and ensure data consistency.


• Optimize performance, scalability, and database queries for large data sets.


• Implement security and data protection best practices.


• Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards.


• Support the DevOps team in deploying and monitoring applications.


• Maintain detailed technical documentation to support compliance and audits.

Qualifications & Experience


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


• 4+ years of experience in backend development using Laravel.


• Strong understanding of MySQL, REST APIs, and modern PHP practices.


• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.


• Familiarity with AWS or cloud infrastructure is a plus.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
