Bachelor of Laws from a recognized university.

Preferably those who have postgraduate studies in fields such as:

Second: Scientific Experience:

At least 7 to 10 years of experience in the field of legal work, of which part of the following:

Shipping companies or oil and gas companies.

Dealing with maritime contracts such as charter parties and marine insurance contracts.

Issues related to marine pollution and civil liability related to the transportation of hazardous materials.

Experience in dealing with international maritime bodies such as:

IMO .

Port Authorities.

Environmental Safety Bodies.

Third: Technical and Legal Skills:

Strong knowledge of international and domestic maritime law.

International environmental legislation such as MARPOL  .

Laws on the transportation of hazardous materials and dealing with disasters and oil spills.

Contract, Insurance and Civil Liability Laws.

Skills in drafting commercial and maritime contracts.

Handle maritime investigations, accidents and related reports.

Fourth: Personal and Language Skills
:

Proficiency in fluent English, especially maritime legal and commercial terminology.

Communication skills and high coordination ability with technical and administrative teams.

Skills of coordinating with external consultants and managing a legal team.

Fifth: Additional Conditions
:

Membership in the Bar Association.

Lack of a criminal or professional record.

-      Ability to represent the company externally when needed .
