Overview

The Creative Executive at MKYCOMM is the central driver of ideation, messaging, and creative scripting across all service lines. Replacing the traditional copywriter function, this role consolidates all creative direction for content into one streamlined position — ensuring that storytelling, brand voice, and conceptual alignment flow across digital, branding, and video outputs. The Creative Executive collaborates with designers, strategists, and video editors to bring campaigns and brand identities to life through strong creative logic and compelling narrative execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creative Concept Development

  • Develop creative directions, key visual concepts, and thematic angles for campaigns
  • Interpret brand strategy into actionable, visual, and verbal concepts
  • Lead ideation for Instagram carousels, video storyboards, brand key messages, and content hooks
  • Collaborate with the Strategy and Media teams to align outputs with performance and positioning goals

2. Verbal Messaging & Scripting

  • Draft campaign lines, storytelling captions, video scripts, and brand messaging assets
  • Ensure consistency across tone of voice, cultural nuance, and platform-specific language
  • Write, edit, and adapt content for multi-format distribution (static, motion, web)

3. Creative Ownership Across SOPs

  • Serve as the creative lead in all IMC, Brand Development, and Web SOP stages that require verbal or conceptual content
  • Translate briefs into editorial calendars and publishing plans
  • Review and refine visual outputs to ensure conceptual and tonal alignment

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with designers to translate creative direction into visual form
  • Support Account Managers during client presentations by developing narratives and copy hooks
  • Align closely with the Creative Director to maintain MKYCOMM's brand tone and aesthetic standards

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in content creation, advertising, or creative strategy
  • Proven ability to build strong, conceptual ideas across static, motion, and brand formats
  • Strong writing and editing skills in English and Arabic (with Arabic optional if writing is only required in English)
  • A portfolio showcasing storytelling, campaign thinking, and conceptual creativity
  • Experience collaborating in agency settings, especially across design and video teams
  • Understanding of cultural nuance and audience behavior in Egypt, USA & GCC
